We call it S.W.A.M. You call it study abroad, which it is, but with a missional kick-in-the-pants.
Why just study abroad when you can do it and rock a university or two for Jesus in the process? You benefit by coming alongside an existing ministry that will provide you with biblical training in following Jesus and launching movements, connections to other strong believers, retreats to some beautiful locations, and an opportunity to raise funds to help you cover your ministry expenses. You simply devote a few hours each week to ministry.
This program relies upon the current structure in place with your school, should you desire to receive credit for your classes. Here is how it works:
- Check with your international program office to find out which schools you can study at in Mexico to receive credit.
- Email us at partner@EnfoqueMexico.com to tell us which university you would like to SWAM at.
- We will send you a short application for SWAM and help you start raising your support.
