Safety is our utmost concern for you. Mexico City is the second-largest city in the world. Many people fear this city. However, we want you to know that you can have a completely safe stay here. We have many staff living and working in Mexico City who absolutely love it. They do not have a sense of danger, yet they understand what needs to happen to stay safe, much like someone living in New York, DC, or LA. We will go to great lengths to ensure that you have a fun and safe experience.

When you arrive in Mexico City, one of our staff will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Our staff will remain with your group the entire week until you say goodbye at the airport. After arrival, your group will receive instructions on how to have a safe and enjoyable stay in Mexico.

As part of our safety requirements, we do ask that each member of your group register your trip with the U.S. State Department Travel Registry. After registering, you may visit the U.S. State Department website to read more about Mexico.

Also, Campus Crusade provides you with emergency insurance (above your current insurance) on all international events. This insurance is included when you register.
